Shall We Dance?
Approximately 1,000 turned out to support and enjoy the 2007 Navy-Marine Corps Ball, held on St. Patrick’s Day at the Washington Hilton Hotel. This annual event is enjoyable and successful because of the hard work, enthusiasm and commitment of the Navy-Marine Corps Ball Committee volunteers who dedicate countless hours to planning every detail — from decorations to menu selection; logistics to hospitality; program to contributions and publicity. Thanks to their platinum efforts and the consistent benevolent support of our corporate partners, the Navy-Mariner Corps Relief Society will be able to improve the quality of life for our active duty and retired Marines, Sailors and their families. The 2007 Ball set a new record — $505,670, representing a tremendous
25%-plus increase over the highly successful ball last year. Please see the photos page
