Recent Significant Contributions Society President Steve Abbot, left,  accepts a $10,000 charitable gift from Andrew M. Egeland, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of the Association  of Military Banks of America.  On behalf of the Sailors, Marines and their families who will benefit from this contribution, the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society wishes to express sincere gratitude for the sustained generosity and financial support of the Association of Military Banks of America. Susette Lado, RN, and the Visiting Nurse assigned to the Society’s Groton, Connecticut Office, left, and Michele Bilodeau, Director NMCRS Groton, accept a $10,000 contribution from John P. Casey, President of  General Dynamics’ Electric Boat Corporation.  In presenting this most generous charitable gift, Mr. Casey asked that it be used to support the Society’s relatively new Combat Casualty Assistance Visiting Nurse Program.  Of course we’ll honor that request and we truly appreciate the sustained financial support and generosity of Electric Boat Corporation.
