Do you have previous experience as a Volunteer or employee of Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society?Are you an NMCRS “Certified Society Caseworker” or hold NMCRS Level Three Caseworker Status? If you can answer yes to both these questions, and you want to meet the challenge of working at NMCRS Headquarters, then we want to talk to you! NMCRS, Headquarters needs highly qualified caseworkers to provide guidance, mentoring and oversight by telephone to the Society’s Full and Emergency Service Office caseworkers. To fill these unique positions, you must be an NMCRS Certified Society Caseworker (CSC) or an NMCRS trained Level 3 Caseworker, eligible to acquire CSC certification within six months of employment. NMCRS New River Director

TEAM NMCRS needs a part-time (30 hrs/wk) experienced manager to direct operations at our New River, NC Office. Prior association with NMCRS, as an employee or a volunteer, will be a significant factor in evaluating a candidate’s qualifications for this position. Candidates must have a minimum of an AA degree from an accredited college, experience in recruiting, retaining, motivating, and working with volunteers in an organization similar to NMCRS.  Two or more yrs supervisory experience; superior leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Desirable qualities: in-depth knowledge of military command structure, pay and allowance systems and experience providing financial management counseling to others. Starting salary $16/hr plus benefits. NMCRS Lemoore Director

NMCRS Bremerton Relief Services Assistant

Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society’s Bremerton Office have an opening for a Part-time (20 hours/week) Relief Services Assistant.  Ideal candidate should possess experience working with Volunteer staff members, interviewing techniques, public speaking, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and be computer literate.  Knowledge of military service org. and military pay systems highly desirable.  Preference in selecting candidates will be give to those with previous experience with NMCRS as a Volunteer or as an employee. NMCRS Naples — Relief Services Assistant

The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society has an opening for a part-time (20 hours per week) Relief Services Assistant in the Naples Office.  The position provides administrative support to the Director and supports a team of Volunteers who provide relief assistance to service members stationed in the Naples area.  Ideal candidate will have HS diploma/GED, hands-on experience in data entry, strong organizational and administrative skills, ability to work independently, excellent oral and written communication skills, public speaking experience and experience working with volunteers. Knowledge of military pay/allowance systems is highly desirable.  Applicant must have all of the following attributes to be considered:  (1) be a command-sponsored spouse of an active duty service member or be the spouse of a member of the U.S. civilian personnel component, (2) possess a valid sojourn permit and (3) be a U.S. citizen. NMCRS Washington Navy Yard — Caseworker/Counselor

The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society Washington Navy Yard Office is actively seeking a part-time (25hrs/wk) NMCRS-trained Level 3 Caseworker/Counselor, who can attain CSC certification within 12 months of employment or a current NMCRS Certified Society Caseworker (CSC). Minimum requirements include; successful completion of High School/GED, experience in public speaking or as a training facilitator, ability to provide training, guidance, and support to a Volunteers staff, and experience with computer software programs in a Windows environment.
