The Society employs a variety of paid professionals around the world to support its volunteer workforce and to provide for continuity of operations. Some locations have but a single employee while others have several employees. All hiring actions are coordinated by the Director of Human Resources located at the Society's Headquarters. Caseworkers — Do you have previous experience as a Volunteer or employee of Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society?Are you an NMCRS “Certified Society Caseworker” or hold NMCRS Level Three Caseworker Status? If you can answer yes to both these questions, and you want to meet the challenge of working at NMCRS Headquarters, then we want to talk to you! NMCRS, Headquarters needs highly qualified caseworkers to provide guidance, mentoring and oversight by telephone to the Society’s Full and Emergency Service Office caseworkers. To fill these unique positions, you must be an NMCRS Certified Society Caseworker (CSC) or an NMCRS trained Level 3 Caseworker, eligible to acquire CSC certification within six months of employment. We have both full time (40 Hr/Wk) and part-time (20 Hr/Wk) CW positions available. NMCRS Camp Lejeune — Relief Services Assistant

Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS) has an opening for a part-time (20 hrs/wk) Relief Services Assistant.  Position will provide administrative support to the director, train and support a team of volunteers, interview and provide emergency financial assistance to clients.  Ideal candidate should possess experience working with Volunteer staff members, interviewing techniques, public speaking, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and be computer literate.  Knowledge of military service organization and military pay systems highly desirable.  Preference in selecting candidates will be given to those with previous experience as a Volunteer or as an employee with NMCRS. NMCRS Okinawa (Camp Hansen) — Relief Services Assistant

Ideal candidate will have HS diploma/GED, experience in data entry, strong organizational and administrative skills, ability to work independently, excellent oral and written communication skills, public speaking experience and experience working with Volunteers. Knowledge of military pay/allowance systems and NMCRS Level III Caseworker status is highly desirable. NMCRS Yokosuka — Visiting Nurse
