Carrier Classic Sponsor Donates Check Arlington, Virginia, October 5, 2011: Jay Farner, center, President and Chief Marketing Officer of Quicken Loans, Inc. presents a charitable donation check on behalf of Quicken Loans, Title Sponsor of Quicken Loans Carrier Classic, to Admiral Steve Abbot,U. S. Navy (Retired), President and Chief Executive Officer of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. Former Georgia Congressman Jim Marshall, Co-Chairman of Quicken Loans Carrier Classic, is shown at left. The 2011 Quicken Loans Carrier Classic is an NCAA basketball game between the University of North Carolina and Michigan State University, to be played on November 11, 2011 (Veterans Day) on the flight deck of the San Diego-based aircraft carrier USS CARL VINSON (CVN 70).
