Eligibility requirements for the Spouse Tuition Aid Program, (STAP):

• spouses must be residing with their active duty Navy or Marine Corps service member,
  stationed outside the 50 United States
• must be a part-time or full-time undergraduate or graduate student
• must be enrolled at an accredited college/university approved by Dept. of Education
• must complete a budget at one of our overseas offices

Program details:

• no-interest loans of up to $3,000 per 12 month period
• repay starts immediately; terms are based on ETS or 24 months, whichever is shorter
• loans may be used for tuition, books and fees
• service members presence or authorization is required for loan approval
