Society Thrift Shops enable servicemembers and their families to purchase used clothing, uniforms, and household items at a nominal cost. The sales income realized from thrift shops is returned to the Navy-Marine Corps community in the form of relief services. All items
sold in NMCRS Thrift Shops were donated to the Society.

Society Thrift Shops are operated at many locations and are normally established when there are no other base thrift shops available. NMCRS will not compete with local organizations (e.g. wives' clubs). Thrift Shops provide:

  • Low cost clothing and household items
  • Uniform shops at many locations
Thrift Shops are run by Volunteers. Opportunities are available for Volunteers to sort merchandise, arrange displays, work as cashiers, pick up donations, and serve as store managers. To patronize a Thrift Shop or to volunteer to help with your local Thrift Shop, please contact the nearest Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society location listed below.
