_________

One way to help the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society is to make a gift to the Society in your will. A simple bequest will suffice. You may include the Society in your will in a variety of ways: For a specific amount; for a certain percentage; as a memorial gift in your family name; as a gift of stocks or bonds; or as a gift of real estate.
  • If You Don't Have a Will

If you don't have a will, ask your estate planner to incorporate the language below in your will.

  • If You Have a Will

If you already have a will, it may be modified by a CODICIL written in your own handwriting, using the following language:

"I, ______________________________hereby make this CODICIL to my will dated ________________________.

"I give and bequeath to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, whose main office is located at 875 North Randolph Street, Suite 225, Arlington, VA 22203, the sum of ___________ dollars, or (____ percentage of my estate). This gift is to be used by the Board of Directors of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society for such purposes and in such manner as the Board of Directors, or its successors, or other governing body of the Society may determine in the exercise of their sole decision."

You should always sign and date your CODICIL.
