There is no appointment necessary for Emergency Travel assistance.
Just visit your nearest NMCRS location during office hours and we can help you.
Get financial assistance.
If you have urgent financial needs, visit an NMCRS office. Often you can be seen the same day. We may be able to provide the money you need for immediate situations and help you prepare a better long-term financial plan. Our services are free and confidential. Our caring and compassionate staff understands the unique challenges of military life and are ready to serve you and your family.
Before Your Appointment
For financial assistance and counseling or disaster relief:
Find your nearest location and make an appointment.
Complete the Pre-Appointment Information Sheet as accurately as possible. A caseworker will review your form with you during your appointment.
Documents to Bring
- Your military ID
- Most recent leave and earnings statement (LES) or retiree account statement (RAS)
- Documents related to your financial need. Check the specific service listed in the "What We Offer" section for a complete list of documents.
