: Most of our services are available to active duty and retired Sailors, Marines and family members with a military ID card. Financial assistance extends to reservists on extended active duty of 30 days or more, and the surviving spouses of deceased service members. Education assistance is also available to surviving children of Sailors and Marines who passed on active duty or after retirement.

The Red Cross serves as NMCRS’s after-hours liaison, issuing assistance on our behalf using NMCRS funds.
