A workshop to plan for your growing family

Join Navy-Marine Corps Society to learn about the impact a new baby can have on your budget—and make a plan for it. This 90-minute class is open to all ranks and not limited to a first pregnancy.    

Budget for Baby provides: 

  • In-person, one-on-one, and virtual classes (may differ by location)
  • Help understanding the costs of adding a new family member
  • Budgeting tools and tips for creating a spending plan
  • Local resources for new parents
  • A chance to meet other expectant parents near you
  • Gifts for attending

Who can attend a Budget for Baby workshop?

  • Active duty or retired Sailors and Marines who are expecting, or thinking about having a baby
  • First-time parents and parents who already have a child/children
  • Eligible family members with a military ID card
  • Surviving spouses
  • Reservists on extended active duty of 30+ days
